Jwala Devi or Jwala ji Temple is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths in India, located in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. It is famous for its eternal flame, which burns without oil or wick. According to mythology, Mata SatiтАЩs tongue fell here, symbolized by the sacred flame. Unlike other temples, Jwala Ji has no idol. Instead, nine natural flames emerge from the earth and are worshipped. Lord Shiva is present here as Unmat Bhairav. Believed to be built by the Pandavas, this temple is a unique center of faith. Participating in puja here is considered very auspicious for victory, success, peace and prosperity.
