This Temple is a Siddha Temple dedicated to Goddess Chandi in the holy city of Haridwar in Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand. It is considered to be a very ancient temple. The main idol of Chandi Devi in this temple was established in the 8th century by Adi Shankaracharya, one of the greatest priests of Hinduism. The temple is also known as Neel Parvat Tirtha and is one of the Panch Tirthas located in Haridwar. Chandi Devi Temple is highly popular as Siddha Peeth. This temple is a place of worship where all the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled. It is one of the three main Peethas of Mata located in Haridwar, the other two being Mansa Devi Temple and Maya Devi Temple. Thousands of devotees come here to seek the blessings of the Goddess during Navratri, Durgashtami and Kumbh Mela in Haridwar and Maa fulfills all their wishes.
