Prachin Lakshmi Narayan Temple, located near Assi Ghat in the holy City Kashi, is one of the famous temples. Here, Kshira Sagara Shri Vishnu take rest after Bhog. According to Puranas, it is believed that Shri Vishnu rests in Kashi after Bhog. He is a devotee of eternal Shiva and Shiva is his devotee. 1000 years ago, Shri Ramanujacharyaji also offered special worship to Shri Vishnu at this Temple and described the glory of this Temple. Assi Ghat is a pilgrimage area, where Shiv , Maa Durga, Vishnu and Maa Lakshmi fulfill all the wishes of their Devotees. The result of the worship performed in this ancient Temple is equivalent to that of Shiva worship performed in the Kashi region.
