Devgram, located in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, is a place which is called the Tapobhoomi of Rishis. The first of the Panch Badris "Dhyan Badri" and the last of the Panch Kedars "Kalpeshwar" is in Devgram itself. According to mythology, the Pandavas had ended Panch Kedar Yatra here to attain salvation, but they did not get salvation. Then Shivji asked the Pandavas to go to Dhyan Badri located here and do penance of Shri Vishnu by starting Panch Badri Yatra, so that they could get salvation. Ratikund Cave is located here in Devgram itself. This is the same place where Rati Devi had worshipped Shivji by doing Rudrabhishek to get back Kamadeva after Shivji burnt Kamdev to ashes. By the grace of Shivji, Mata Rati got Kamadeva. This place has also witnessed the love glory of Shiva and Mata Sati. It is believed that Shivjj used to come to meet Himalayan daughter Mata Sati at this place. Therefore, worship done at this place is believed to strengthen Love, Happy Married Life, Relationships and Happiness, Prosperity and Success.
