Sri Venkateshwara, the Incarnation of Shri Vishnu, resides in every particle of Tirupati Balaji Tirtha Kshetra. Every temple here praises the glory of Sri Venkateshwara. Because Tirupati Venkateshwara temple located in this pilgrimage area is dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara, one of the forms of Lord Vishnu, who is believed to have appeared on Earth to save mankind from the trials and troubles of Kaliyuga. Therefore, this place is also called Vaikuntha of Kaliyuga and the deity here is called Kaliyuga Pratyaksha Daivam. Venkateshwara is known by many other names, such as Balaji, Govinda and Srinivasa.
