One of the most accomplished temples of Shri Narasimha is the Lakshmi-Narasimha Swamy Temple in Ahobilam. It is believed that Ahobilam is the same place where the demon Hiranyakashipu had his palace. The same place where Shri Vishnu appeared as Shri Narasimha and killed the demon and protected his devotee Prahalad. The fourth incarnation of Shri Vishnu took place in his divine form of Narasimha here. Along with Shri Narasimha, Mahalakshmi, Shivji and other Devta also came to this place and made this holy place more sacred.
