Pashupatinath Temple of Nepal is one of the most sacred Shiva temples for the people of Hindu religion. Pashu means all living beings and Nath means lord, that is, the one who is the lord of all the living beings present in this world, he is Pashupatinath. According to some beliefs, Shiva was resting here sitting in the form of a gazelle, antelope. When the Devta recognized him, Shiva as Pashu jumped to the other side of the river. In this very jump, his horn broke into four pieces. Here the four pieces appeared as the four faces of Pashupatinath. According to some beliefs, there is another true story from the Mahabharata. When Shiva took the form of a bull in Kedarnath, Bhima caught hold of its tail. Then the mouth of Mahadev in the form of a bull came out at this place and he settled here as Pashupatinath. It is said that this place has also been mentioned in the Puranas. By doing puja here, all the wishes are fulfilled and the person does not have to take any next birth as an animal. According to Indian stories, this Pashupatinath Khand of тАЛтАЛNepal is as sacred and auspicious as Dwadash Jyotirlingas. Participating in Pujas or Offerings here helps Devotees to attain benefits related to Love, Relationship and Progeny.
