Maa Lalita is also referred as the Supreme Mother Goddess among the Ten Mahavidyas. Adi Guru Shankaracharya described Maa Lalita as the Supreme Goddess of Sri Vidya. The Heart of Maa Sati had fallen here, since then, Mother Goddess has been residing here in the form of Maa Lalita. Also, Lord Shiva is present here in the form of Laliteshwar Mahadev. It is said that no one returns empty-handed from the Temple of Maa Lalita. Maa Lalita always blesses her Devotees with abundance. Mother Goddess is also known by other names including Tripura Sundari, Rajarajeshwari and Sri Vidya. Maa Lalita Devi Shaktipeeth is known for its Siddhis and for fulfilling the wishes of the Devotees immediately in Tantra Shastra as well as in Shakta tradition. The glory of Naimisharanya has been mentioned in 18 Puranas. Naimisharanya is the holiest place where thousands of Rishis did penance. Naimisharanya, located on the banks of the Gomti river, has a pool which was made when Shri Vishnu's Sudarshana Chakra struck the Earth. Shri Vishnu has described this holy land as the best for worshipping God and starting the spiritual journey. It has been said that in Naimisharanya Dham, around 88 thousand sages have performed penance. Even today their Spiritual Energy and Bhakti can be felt in this place. Even today, Rishi Munis are energizing this sacred region by performing Pujas and Yagyas here. Therefore, participating in Puja here never goes in vain and brings rewarding results immediately.
