After Kailash, Kashi is said to be the second home of Shivji. Mahadev resides in every part of Kashi situated on the banks of river Ganga. Kashi is mentioned in the world's most ancient text, Rigveda. In the Puranas, Kashi has been given a place among the Mokshadayini Puris, cities you must visit to attain Moksha. It is said that the worship or Chadhava offered to Shivji at any place in Kashi directly reaches Shivji and all wishes of the Devotees are fulfilled immediately.
