There is a grand temple dedicated to Lord Shanidev in Indore. A huge statue of Lord Shanidev is established in this temple. It is considered to be the world's largest temple dedicated to Shanidev. It is said that such a proven and huge idol is not found in any temple in the world. The huge idol of Shanidev installed in this temple is self-manifested, that is, it has appeared on its own. Thousands of years ago a small idol appeared here which gradually became huge with time. After this it was restored and the construction work of this temple was increased. Today people from all over the world come here to avoid the ill effects of Shani Dev during Shani Mahadasha, Shani Sade Sati, Shani Dhaiya and Gochar and participate in the worship of Lord Shani Dev and please him by offering sesame and oil. Lord Shanidev, also known as the God of Justice, has fulfilled the wishes of Devotees here. A special festival of Shani Dev is organised here on every Saturday, Shani Amavasya and Shani Jayanti. Devotees who are facing struggles, due to Shani’s Dhaiya, Mahadasha and Sade Sati, can be relieved from their struggles by participating in offerings to Shani Dev here.
